The Journal of Legal Research adopts double blind review process where both the referee and the author remain anonymous throughout the process, which is carefully monitored by the editor. Terms and conditions of peer review process are based on the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Editor undertake editorial review to assess the quality and type of submission before sending it to the review process. Manuscripts not meeting the scientific standards will not be considered for the reviewing process. Editor will also check the readability, grammatical usage and may ask for resubmission if papers fare poorly in these parameters.
Editor request referees to advice on the scientific merit as well as the likely appeal the paper. Editor will be in contact with the referees once paper is sent to them, with periodic reminders of their due date.
Once all the reviews are done, the editor assesses the reviewer’s comments and will most likely make a decision within a day or two. The editor will then contact the corresponding author with the decision.
The author (s) are obliged to respond carefully to all the reviewer’s comments and send back to the journal office as soon as possible (finally one week).
The editor re-assesses the author's response to the reviewer's comments. If necessary, he consults with the reviewers and then makes the final decision on accepting or rejecting the article.
The editor is responsible for the decision to reject or recommend the manuscript for publication. This decision will be sent to the author along with any recommendations made by the reviewers.
All efforts are done to complete the whole process within three months from submission with the first decision on an average done within 30 days to inform the status of their article.
The entire review process of the articles submitted to Journal of Legal Research are done online and digitally. Authors must use the online submission system for submitting their manuscript.

A submission may be rejected at any stage during initial validation, peer review or final validation for the following reasons:
Acceptance of Articles
- Articles must be authored, documented and analytical. Translated and reviewed articles are accepted.
- Articles have not been published before in any journal or sent to another journal at the same time.
- Articles must be submitted with the author's name, exact address, contact number and email through the Legal Research Journal system .
- The author (s) endorse the obligations contained therein and the originality of the article by completing and submitting the engagement form along with their article.
- Upload the submission form and the text of the article (without including the authors' names) prior to complying with the Institute's citation style to evaluate the subject in the journal system. After reviewing the subject of the articles by the editorial board, the responsible author (correspondent in charge) will approve or disapprove the subject within a maximum of ten days.
- Articles must be edited and edited in accordance with the manner in which the articles of the specialized journals of this institution are arranged.
