Abstract

Question and admition are two monitoring tools of the parliament to control the executive branch in the framework of Iran's legal system,and there are many ambiguities and challenges regarding their efficiency on the performance of the government. Based on this,the present research was carried out with the aim of investigating the efficiency of monitoring tools of questions and reminders on the performance of the executive branch in the domestic legal system, using documentary sources and using a descriptive-analytical method.The findings showed that the deficiency and ambiguity in the parliament's internal regulation law and the weaknesses of the communication structure and political culture have hindered the effectiveness of the monitoring tool of questions and reminders on the responsibility, accountability and reform of the government's performance, and this inefficiency It has led to another sequence,such as the weakening of the parliament's supervision over the government, legislative inflation, the use of quantitative and frequent monitoring tools or with the aim of hostage-taking and political settlement, and finally,the escalation of tension in the relationship between the parliament and the government. Is; The set of factors that improve the effectiveness of the monitoring tools of questions and reminders through the amendment of laws and adherence to approaches such as the change of questionnaires, the separation between national and regional reminders, and the expansion of the territory of institutions subject to questions and reminders, along with the strengthening of political culture and interests Taking from the media and sharpening public opinion is necessary.
