An individual's psychological state significantly influences their environmental responses. Public law, given its political and legal nature, faces greater vulnerability than other legal branches. Considering the role of inner peace in developing individuals who serve in institutions and selecting those qualified for governance, we must address the necessity of establishing a new field in legal science: Public Law Psychology.
This field examines psychological and legal aspects, along with the characteristics of both governing officials and employees in citizen-serving organizations. Inner peace in public law psychology, through education, reveals new pathways for evaluating the personalities of rulers, their governance methods, and subordinate institutions' use of power. Government personnel are trained to prevent power from undermining their internal moral foundation.
Using analytical and descriptive methods, the author emphasizes that while individuals cannot control external events, they can monitor and guide their internal responses. Internalizing peace transforms individual autocracy into coherence, ultimately manifesting peace and unity in the external world. Public law psychology studies relationships, mental processes, behaviors, and reciprocal influences between psychology and public affairs, specifically governance, constitutional law, environmental law, and other public law branches like administrative law
