This article examines the abuse of position and job position and its effects on public trust, organizational efficiency and administrative health. By analyzing the causes and factors affecting this phenomenon, its negative consequences including financial incentives, lack of sufficient supervision, weakness in laws and regulations, decrease in public trust, increase in administrative corruption and decrease in productivity were identified. Also, preventive and punitive solutions such as training and culture building, strengthening transparency and accountability, and supporting whistleblowers were examined. The role of regulatory and judicial institutions in identifying and pursuing violations and comparing Iran's criminal policies with other countries was also noted. The comparison of criminal policies in Iran with other countries shows the differences and similarities in how to deal with abuse of office and job position. Finally, reform suggestions were made to improve laws and regulations to prevent similar abuses from occurring in the future. This research shows that by implementing comprehensive and effective policies, it is possible to significantly reduce this phenomenon and increase public trust in public and private institutions. Reviewing and amending laws and regulations related to abuse of office and job position, allocating more financial and human resources to regulatory and judicial institutions, increasing public awareness and promoting a culture of transparency and accountability, training and culture building, strengthening transparency and accountability, and supporting whistleblowers. It is one of the effective solutions to deal with abuse of position and job position.
