**Abstract**
The consumer of artificial intelligence is always exposed to harm and damage due to the unknown nature of this technology. Therefore, countries like Iran and the United States place the responsibility for damages on the producer to protect consumers, holding them accountable for producing a high-risk product concerning society and consumers. A significant question we will address in this article, written in a descriptive-analytical manner, is how American law, as one of the leading countries in AI technology, responds legally to consumer protection. The findings of this research indicate that there is no specific law regarding artificial intelligence in the United States. Instead, the country has applied specific rules based on product liability law and judicial precedents concerning artificial intelligence and consumer protection, all of which reflect the imposition of responsibility on producers to protect users. U.S. law has broadened the liability scope for producers due to the dangers posed by this product, holding producers accountable while considering the adherence to guidelines by the user.
